How do I complete a savings challenge?

Only certain savings accounts are eligible for participating in challenges. To complete a challenge, you must deposit the challenge amount into the participating account before the challenge ends. Our system validates a challenge has been met by recording the balance on the account when you accept the challenge and comparing it to your balance on the account when the challenge ends, which is to ensure the balance is $100 or $200 higher than before. If you deposit the challenge amount and withdraw it before the challenge ends, the system will not count the challenge as completed.

Please note that in order for our system to have record of your deposit, your account must be refreshed and the deposit must appear on SaveUp. So when participating in a challenge, please be sure to manually refresh your account so the deposit appears under your account activity during the time of participation.

It will take about 3 to 4 days after the savings challenge ends for our system to validate that the requirements have been met. This period is to ensure that those who deposit money on the last day of the challenge also receive their credits. Please email us if your challenge is still pending 3-4 days after the end date.
