How do I refresh an account if it doesn't auto-refresh?

Last Updated: Jul 27, 2017 09:30PM CDT
If your financial accounts on SaveUp are not auto-refreshing because your bank or credit union requires you to answer additional security, please try refreshing your accounts manually.

How to manually refresh an account on the website:

  • Log in at SaveUp.com.
  • Click on "Accounts" in the top navigation bar.
  • While on your Accounts page, click on the account you wish to refresh.
  • While viewing the details of this account, click on the "Refresh Now" button.
  • Enter your financial institution's username and password to identify your account.
  • Click on the "Authorize App" button.
  • You may need to answer additional security required by your financial provider to verify the account is yours (i.e., security question/answer, captcha, or text/email code).

How to manually refresh an account on the app:

  • Open the app.
  • Click on the three horizontal lines in the top, left corner to open the Main Menu.
  • Click on "Accounts" and select the category your account falls under (Spending, Debt, or Savings).
  • Scroll down and click on the account you wish to refresh.
  • Click on the circling arrows to refresh the account.
  • Enter your financial institution's username and password to identify your account and then click "Continue."
  • You may need to answer additional security required by your financial provider to verify the account is yours (i.e., security question/answer, captcha, or text/email code).
